JEE Main 2026 Application Form: Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria, and Fee Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Application Form in the first week of November 2025. Students who wish to appear for this engineering entrance exam can apply online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam will serve as a gateway for B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan programs in top NITs, IIITs, and other institutions across India. Registrations will remain open for around four weeks.

JEE Main 2026 Registration Date

According to reports from Shiksha and Careers360, the registration for Session 1 is likely to begin between October 18 and November 2025. The exam will be held in two sessions — January and April 2026 — and results will be declared soon after each session.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have passed or be appearing in the 12th examination (Science Stream) in 2024 or 2025.
• There is no maximum or minimum age limit.
• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
• Minimum marks: 75% for General/OBC and 65% for SC/ST categories.
